DIY scrub outperforms commercial tan removers in UK
As spring arrives in the UK, many are preparing for warmer weather and the use of fake tan. A beauty enthusiast tested five methods to remove stubborn fake tan, comparing DIY remedies to commercial products. A homemade scrub of coffee and honey effectively removed most tan but created a mess. In contrast, the Bondi Sands Self Tan Eraser, despite positive reviews, failed to deliver results, requiring additional scrubbing. Other methods included Vaseline body oil, which softened skin and eased tan removal, and baby oil, which proved surprisingly effective with minimal scrubbing. However, both methods required time to work and could stain fabrics.
