Dogecoin value doubles as Trump launches efficiency group led by Elon Musk
Dogecoin's value has more than doubled since Donald Trump announced a new government group called DOGE, aimed at improving efficiency. Before the election, dogecoin was under 16 cents and is now around 41.5 cents. Elon Musk has been appointed as a leader of the "Department of Government Efficiency," which will advise Trump's administration. Former GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will also lead the group, which is not a government agency. In addition to dogecoin's rise, Bitcoin has surged above $93,000 following Trump's campaign support. Dogecoin has gained over 150% since Election Day, while Bitcoin's increase is about 30%.
