DOLE sets pay guidelines for November holidays in 2024

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has released pay guidelines for the upcoming holidays in November 2024. Employers must compensate employees working on All Saints’ Day, All Souls’ Day, and Bonifacio Day according to specific rules. For All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, employees who do not work will follow the "no work, no pay" rule. Those who work will receive an additional 30% of their basic wage for the first eight hours, and 50% if it is also their rest day. On Bonifacio Day, employees who do not work will receive 100% of their wage, provided they worked the day before. For those who work, the pay will be 200% of their wage for the day, with additional rates for overtime and rest days.
