$2,000 reward offered for missing Carmichael parrot
A $2,000 reward is being offered for help in finding a missing parrot named Kiki. Kiki is a Congo African Grey Parrot who flew away from her home in Carmichael, California, on March 9. Her owner, Holly Franklin, took her outside for some sunshine when Kiki got startled and flew off. Franklin has taken many steps to find her beloved pet. She has printed hundreds of flyers and used social media to spread the word about Kiki's disappearance. After receiving numerous tips, she even set up Kiki's sleeping cage outside and plays her sounds on a Bluetooth speaker, hoping to attract her back home. The search for Kiki has gained significant attention. Many of her fans, including her friend Gizmo, who has millions of followers online, have rallied to help. Gizmo's owner traveled from Canada to join the search, understanding how important these birds are to their owners. Kiki has a grey body, a bright red tail, and a black hook beak. Franklin urges anyone who sees Kiki to take a photo and call her at 916-804-3900 instead of trying to catch the bird.
