Domino's CEO Don Meij retires after 40 years with the company
Don Meij, CEO of Domino's, will retire after nearly 40 years with the company, including 22 years as chief executive. His successor is Mark van Dyck, previously with Compass Group. Under Meij's leadership, Domino's expanded from 387 stores and $300 million in sales in 2005 to 3,700 stores and about $4 billion today. Domino's reported a decline in same-store sales of 1.2% for the first 17 weeks of fiscal 2025, contrasting with a 2.7% increase in the previous period.
