Downtown Adrian fire's cause still unknown
Fire officials are investigating a blaze that damaged several buildings in downtown Adrian on Saturday evening. The fire affected properties at 117, 119, 121, and 123 W. Maumee St., with one building housing six apartments. No injuries were reported among residents or firefighters. Businesses impacted include Diamond Jim's Pool Hall and the Adrian Dance Center, with Diamond Jim's closing until further notice. Firefighters from 14 departments helped contain the fire, which took hours to manage. Investigators have not yet identified the cause or origin of the fire.
