Dragon Age: The Veilguard will not feature giant spiders for the first time in series history

In a significant change for the Dragon Age series, the upcoming game, The Veilguard, will not feature any giant spiders. This marks the first time in the franchise's history that players will not encounter these creatures. BioWare confirmed the absence of an arachnophobia mode, stating simply that there are no spiders in the game. This decision surprised some fans, as giant spiders have been a staple enemy in previous titles. The Veilguard focuses on Darkspawn and agents of the returned Elven Gods, offering a different variety of encounters. The game is set to be released on October 31.
