Driver and infant killed in Lewiston crash

A serious crash occurred late Wednesday night on Grove Street in Lewiston. A 20-year-old driver, Tyrell Willigar from Brunswick, lost control of his Toyota Corolla around 10:45 p.m. The car veered off the road and hit a tree. Willigar was declared dead at the scene. In the car, there were two passengers. Adaysia Read, 20, and Kinsley Willigar, a seven-month-old infant, were both severely injured. They were first taken to Central Maine Medical Center and later transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland. Sadly, on Thursday morning, police reported that Kinsley Willigar had died. Adaysia Read remains in critical condition. Authorities believe that speed may have played a role in the crash.
