Drone operator finds remains of missing woman in Derry
A Hudson drone operator hopes his recent discovery will help bring closure to the family of Amanda Grazewski, who has been missing since 2020. Jenness Keller, owner of Sky Dog Aerial Thermal Imaging, focused his efforts on searching wet areas near the Hoodkroft Country Club golf course. After a tip, Keller located potential human remains, which were found on Thursday by Derry Police and other officials. Keller, who has spent two years using drones for searches, expressed his happiness at being able to potentially aid Grazewski's loved ones. "It's fabulous," he said after the discovery. Grazewski was last seen in March 2020 when she left a friend's house without her belongings. Since then, extensive searches have been conducted, but a tip last week led to Keller's significant findings. Using advanced drone technology, Keller created a detailed map of the area, which included images that could show precise locations within half an inch. He identified several points of interest and shared them with police, leading to the discovery. This case marked Keller's first time helping find a missing person, after previously locating lost pets and even a horse. As the investigation continues, the identity of the remains has not yet been confirmed, and it could take months for authorities to complete the process. The community hopes this discovery will bring much-needed answers for Grazewski's family.
