Dual moguls skiing debuts at Milano Cortina 2026
Dual moguls will debut at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. This new event will add more excitement to the sport of mogul skiing. Mogul skiing began as a demonstration sport in 1988 and became official in 1992. Now, dual moguls is set to change the game. Competitors will ski down a course that features bumps (or moguls) while racing against each other. Perrine Laffont, who won the moguls event in PyeongChang 2018, believes dual moguls will be thrilling. She recently tested the event on the Olympic course in Livigno. Laffont stated, "It’s going to be very exciting... to see two skiers battling for victory.” Fans can expect a fast-paced and energetic competition. The new dual moguls event is sure to be a highlight of the 2026 Winter Olympics.
