The initiative was organized by the Al Jalila Foundation and coincided with Zayed Humanitarian Day, promoting the theme of community support. Dr Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, emphasized their commitment to sustainable healthcare for children lacking access to necessary services. He acknowledged the support of various organizations, including the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, which brought gifts for the children. Additionally, the Emirates Literature Foundation hosted educational sessions during the event. This year’s initiative saw a 20% increase in beneficiaries compared to last year. Dr. Mohammed Al Awadhi, Deputy CEO at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, highlighted the significant impact and noted that they continued medical follow-ups for 45 children who needed ongoing treatment. Children received specialized services in areas such as general paediatrics, nephrology, neurology, and orthodontics, among others. The event showcased a strong volunteer effort, with over 100 professionals and students contributing to the success of the ‘Clinic of Hope.’
