Duke's Sion James celebrates 150th career college game

Sion James is preparing to play his 150th college basketball game on Sunday. The Duke guard transferred to Duke this season after spending four years at Tulane. He will take the court when the Blue Devils face Baylor in the NCAA Tournament. James played his first NCAA Tournament game on Friday, where Duke won against Mount St. Mary’s. It was a moment he had dreamed of for a long time. He reflects on how he and Tulane always aimed for the tournament but never achieved it. Now, playing in the tournament is a rewarding experience for him. In Friday's game, he scored only two points, but Duke has been very successful since he became a starter in December. James praised his team's chemistry and emphasized that their success is a collective effort. When he entered the transfer portal, he received a call from Duke coach Jon Scheyer. He felt immediately welcomed and knew it was the right decision. Looking back, James admits he never imagined reaching 150 games during his college career.
