Dundee United wants to sign Liverpool's Luca Stephenson

Luca Stephenson has had a successful loan season at Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership. The 21-year-old midfielder joined the club in August and has played 31 games across all competitions. Dundee United's manager, Jim Goodwin, is keen on signing Stephenson permanently this summer. He praised the young player’s impact on the team, which has seen them rise to fifth place in the league. Goodwin stated that if Stephenson becomes available and does not renew his contract with Liverpool, the club would be eager to negotiate for him. He expressed happiness with the loan signings and mentioned that players like Stephenson have enjoyed their time at Dundee United. Goodwin also mentioned the appreciation players have for the support from the club’s staff. He hopes to keep some of the successful loan players as permanent members of the team. Stephenson recently impressed during pre-season games with Liverpool against teams like Arsenal and Manchester United.
