Dungeon Fighter Online has launched its first level cap expansion since July 2022. The new season, called Sunken Depths, raises the level cap from 110 to 115. The update also introduces new dungeons, monsters, and regions to explore. Developer Neople aims to enhance the game's core RPG experience. Hyun Woo Kim, the lead game designer, said that the update focuses on the joy of farming. He noted that the update comes at a significant time, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the game's global release. Kim described it as an "anniversary gift" for players. Since the last major update, the game has seen smaller updates in equipment and gameplay. However, these global releases have often lagged behind the Korean versions. To shorten this gap, Neople has expanded its team and improved their "Fast Track" initiative. This has reduced the update wait time from several months to just 2-3 months. Kim promised that Neople will continue to provide faster updates in the future. He emphasized the team's commitment to enhancing the player experience through ongoing improvements. Players can check out the detailed patch notes for the Sunken Depths update for more information.
