Sarah Jayne Dunn, a former Hollyoaks actress, feels safer working on the adult platform OnlyFans than she did while acting on the soap. The 43-year-old said that after experiencing disturbing messages from an obsessed fan, she found more security on OnlyFans. Dunn was ousted from Hollyoaks in 2021 when her OnlyFans account was discovered. She had been given an ultimatum to delete the account or leave the show. Nearly four years later, she remains active on OnlyFans and is earning a good income. She shared that her experience on OnlyFans is less stressful compared to Instagram. On OnlyFans, she can avoid explicit content by not opening pixelated messages. In contrast, she often received frightening messages on Instagram, and authorities could not help her. Reflecting on her exit from Hollyoaks, Dunn expressed that while she misses the friendships from the set, she appreciates the freedom away from management pressure. Currently, she is auditioning for roles but has struggled to find work since leaving the soap. Now, Dunn is exploring a new passion for pole dancing, which has boosted her confidence. She plans to start teaching pole dancing soon and embraces this fresh chapter in her life. Despite the loneliness of filming content alone, Dunn is excited about the journey ahead.
