Dwarka Expressway entry from Daulatabad closed until April 30

Entry to the Dwarka Expressway from Daulatabad Chowk will be closed until April 30. This closure is for expansion joint replacement work, according to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Commuters coming from Dhankot and Basai towards Delhi should use the service road and merge onto the main road after the Bijwasan toll plaza. NHAI stated that all other traffic on the expressway will not be affected. Residents are concerned about potential traffic jams. Piyush Verma, who lives in Sobha City, worries it will create congestion during busy hours. Priya Sharma, from Dhankot, mentioned that the service road is already crowded and this closure will make things worse for locals. Many commuters believe NHAI needs to improve traffic management during this period to ease the situation.
