Eaglecrest wins Colorado 6A boys basketball championship
Eaglecrest defeated defending champions Valor Christian 65-63 in the 6A boys state championship on March 15, 2025. This victory marks Eaglecrest's first title since 2017 and their third overall in boys basketball. Senior Jason Noone played a key role, making five crucial free throws in the final seconds. Ant Nettles led the team with 14 points, contributing to their perfect record of 19-0 when he was in the lineup. Coach Jarris Krapcha, who took over after the last title, expressed pride in the team's achievement.
