Earl Holliman, Golden Globe-winning actor from Police Woman, dies at 96
Earl Holliman, a Golden Globe-winning actor known for his role in "The Rainmaker" and the TV series "Police Woman," has died at the age of 96. He passed away at his home in Studio City, California, on Monday. Holliman gained fame as Lt. Bill Crowley on "Police Woman" from 1974 to 1978. He appeared in over 50 films and nearly 50 television shows throughout his career, which began in the early 1950s. In addition to his acting, Holliman was an animal rights activist and served as president of Actors and Others for Animals. He is survived by his husband, Craig Curtis, and several nieces and nephews.
