Early voting starts today for Florida's District 6 election
The Special Election for Congressional District 6 in Florida is set for April 1st. Voters can begin casting their ballots during early voting from March 22nd to March 29th. This election is open to all registered voters in the district, regardless of their political party. Voters in Putnam County, Flagler County, and parts of St. Johns County can participate. The seat became vacant in January when Mike Waltz was appointed as the U.S. National Security Advisor. Four candidates are running for the position, and voters also have the option to write in their own choice. In St. Johns County, early voting runs daily from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. In Putnam County, it is from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Flagler County polls will be open from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. All counties will have early voting available through the same dates.
