Ecuadorian artists reach No. 1 in Argentina with remix

Ecuadorian artists Jombriel, Alex Krack, and Jøtta have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart. Their song "Parte y Choke," featuring Ryan Castro, moved up from No. 2 to No. 1 on the March 22 ranking. Originally released in November 2022, the song debuted at No. 33 last December. Its popularity surged after the release of the remix and strong support on TikTok. Notably, Argentinian artist Nicki Nicole helped the song go viral with a dance video that received over 16 million views. "Parte y Choke" replaces La T y La M’s “Amor de Vago” at the top spot, which had held the No. 1 position for ten weeks. Meanwhile, Emilia and Luísa Sonza's “Bunda” climbed to No. 4, marking its highest ranking. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars also made headlines as their song “Die With A Smile” entered the top 10 for the first time. This is from Gaga’s latest album, "Mayhem," alongside her other song “Abracadabra” which climbed the charts. The song “#TETAS” by CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso gained significant traction this week, rising from No. 98 to No. 50. They also debuted another track, “El Día Del Amigo,” at No. 68. Additionally, Shakira entered the chart with two songs and Mon Laferte returned with “Tu Falta de Querer,” her first hit in over six years.
