ED searches three locations in Mettuppalayam today

Enforcement Directorate officials conducted searches at three locations in Mettuppalayam today. The operation began around 7 a.m. and lasted until the afternoon. One of the places searched belonged to Rafiq Ahmed, the General Secretary of the Social Democratic Party of India for Coimbatore North District. His premises were inspected for more than three hours. Another team searched the property of Wahid Rahman, located in Annaji Rao Nagar - II phase extension. The third search took place at a fruit stall near the bus stand, owned by a person named Reela. The reasons for these searches and any findings have not been made public.
