Eicher delivers small trucks for Magenta Mobility's fleet

Eicher Trucks and Buses has started delivering its new Eicher Pro X small trucks to Magenta Mobility, a logistics provider focused on sustainable transport. The initial order consists of 100 trucks, which can carry 1.7 tonnes. These trucks will be deployed in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The Eicher Pro X trucks are part of Magenta Mobility’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions in India's supply chain. S S Gill, Chief Commercial Officer of VE Commercial Vehicles, emphasized that these vehicles meet the rising demand for efficient transport solutions in the delivery sector. Eicher Pro X was introduced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The trucks are designed for urban distribution and offer a spacious cargo area along with energy-efficient features. They also include comfortable cabins and advanced safety systems. The trucks come with AI-powered remote diagnostics and telematics that can be monitored through the ‘My Eicher’ app. Eicher has also set up an Uptime Centre for 24/7 support to enhance vehicle performance and reliability. Magenta Mobility’s Founder and CEO, Maxson Lewis, noted that this partnership enhances their ability to provide high-performance, eco-friendly transportation solutions. The company currently operates over 2,600 electric vehicles across more than 18 cities.
