EIZO launches eco-friendly power-efficient portable monitor

EIZO has launched the FlexScan FLT, a 23.6-inch portable monitor that consumes only 6 watts of power, less than a typical light bulb. It is made from 95% recycled plastic and has received a Class A European Energy Label. The monitor features a frameless design and uses a USB Type-C connection for power and data, eliminating the need for bulky adapters. It includes EcoView technologies that adjust brightness based on lighting and content. EIZO's packaging is eco-friendly, using recycled materials and reducing transportation emissions by up to 42%. The FlexScan FLT has achieved several environmental certifications, marking a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to previous models.
