Ekana Stadium to host India-SA T20 match in December
Lucknow will host a T20 cricket match between India and South Africa on December 17. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium will be the venue for this match. This match is part of a series where South Africa will play three One Day Internationals and five T20 matches in India during November and December. The December 17 game will be the fourth T20 international held at the Ekana Stadium. In addition, the stadium is preparing for the Indian Premier League (IPL) after hosting four matches of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). The Lucknow Super Giants will play seven matches at the stadium, starting with a game against Punjab Kings on April 1. They will also face notable teams like the Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, and Royal Challengers Bangalore throughout the league, which ends on May 18.
