"El Turco" series featuring Can Yaman releases trailer

Madd Entertainment has launched the international trailer for “El Turco,” an English-language drama starring Turkish actor Can Yaman. This highly anticipated series features six episodes that blend history, action, and romance. “El Turco” depicts the story of Hasan Balaban, an Ottoman soldier who was injured during a military campaign in 1683. He finds himself in an Italian village called Moena, where he becomes a local hero by leading a revolt against unfair taxes. The series highlights the cultural ties between Turkey and the West. The show features a diverse cast from nine countries, including Will Kemp and Greta Ferro. It is directed by Uluç Bayraktar and produced by Ay Yapim. The series will premiere today, March 21, on several streaming platforms in different countries, including Voyo in Romania and IVI in Russia. Subsequent releases will follow on platforms in Honduras and Turkey, with more international dates to be announced later. Can Yaman expressed excitement about portraying a character who has left a lasting impact in both Turkey and Italy.
