Elderly couple found dead in Kohat Enclave, Delhi
An elderly couple was found dead in their home in Kohat Enclave, northwest Delhi. Police report that 70-year-old Mohinder Singh was strangled, and his wife, Diljeet Kaur, was beaten to death. Their night attendant, who started just three days prior, is currently missing. The couple lived alone. They have two sons and a daughter, but their family had not visited for three days. The sons were informed of their parents' deaths by a driver who noticed something was wrong. The couple's bodies were discovered in a decomposed state in separate rooms. Mohinder Singh had been unwell recently and needed assistance. The family hired a new attendant just before the incident. Police found signs of a struggle, including a broken locker. Mohinder was last seen alive on Sunday evening. The couple’s son, Charanpreet Singh, stated they learned of the situation when their driver could not get a response at the door. After investigating, they found their parents dead inside. The family has provided police with details about the missing attendant, who reportedly left with a backpack. This incident follows another robbery case in Delhi, where a professor and his family were tied up by intruders. Police are actively investigating both cases.
