Elena Rybakina hires Goran Ivanisevic as new coach for 2025 season

Elena Rybakina, ranked fifth in the world, has hired Goran Ivanisevic, former coach of Novak Djokovic, for the 2025 season. Rybakina, 25, parted ways with her longtime coach Stefano Vukov earlier this summer. Ivanisevic, a Hall of Famer, coached Djokovic to nine Grand Slam titles before their split in March. Rybakina expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, highlighting Ivanisevic's experience and her desire to improve. Rybakina has faced health issues recently, including withdrawing from the Paris Olympics and exiting the U.S. Open due to injuries. She will compete in the WTA Finals starting Saturday against Jasmine Paolini.
