Elijah Holloway, who acts as Harry Mitchell in EastEnders, appeared very different on a BBC talent show eight years before joining the soap. The 26-year-old actor took part in Let It Shine when he was only 18 years old. Let It Shine was a competition aimed at finding five performers to star in a new musical featuring Take That's music. Thousands applied, and Elijah made it to the audition round. He presented fragrances to the celebrity judges, which included Gary Barlow and Dannii Minogue. During the competition, he also performed a memorable version of “Greased Lightning” from the movie Grease. Despite his efforts, Elijah did not make it into any of the boy bands formed on the show.
