They purchased a property in the UK before moving, as they were feeling disillusioned with the election results. Recently, DeGeneres shared that their new farmhouse in the UK did not flood, despite earlier reports of storms causing issues. They had to evacuate their Montecito home due to flooding in January 2023, making the situation particularly concerning.
