Ellen DeGeneres sells West Hollywood home for $5.2 million

Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have sold one of their last homes in the U.S. This comes after they moved to the Cotswold countryside in England late last year. Their recently sold property is located in West Hollywood, California. It was listed for about $5 million and sold for $5.2 million just days after being put on the market. The home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and is nearby Butterfly Beach. The couple originally bought the Spanish bungalow in 2021 for $2.9 million. The home includes a chef's kitchen, spa-like bathrooms, and relaxing outdoor spaces. DeGeneres and de Rossi have been known for their real estate ventures and have flipped over 50 homes. DeGeneres moved to the U.K. after finding a house she loved. She has expressed that house flipping is her way of enjoying new scenery without traveling extensively.
