Ellington wins Division IV championship, finishes 27-0
The Ellington boys basketball team won the Division IV championship, defeating Sheehan 55-39 at Mohegan Sun. This victory completed their perfect season with a record of 27-0. Sophomore Jack Curtis scored 19 points for Ellington, while Andrew Flickenschild contributed 13 points and 13 rebounds. Sheehan's Rey Rodriguez led his team with 23 points. Ellington's strong fourth quarter, highlighted by key baskets from Dylan Killoran, secured their win. Sheehan, the lowest seed in the tournament, finished the season with a record of 12-14.
