Elon Musk announces new plans, past promises unfulfilled
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is working on a new plan called “Master Plan Part 4.” This comes while the company is still trying to implement its “Master Plan Part 3.” There is uncertainty about whether earlier plans will be completed. Musk's announcement has drawn attention as Tesla faces declining sales and distractions from his political activities. The company's three master plans have aimed to direct its future. The first plan, launched in 2006, successfully established Tesla as a major player with the Roadster and Model S. However, the second plan faced problems. The ambitious solar roof project did not succeed, forcing Tesla to switch to traditional solar panels. The current “Master Plan Part 3” aims to transition to renewable energy and tackle climate change. Despite a detailed 40-page document published in 2023, there has been little progress. Additionally, the company has struggled to deliver on its self-driving promises, which reportedly only make driving slightly safer. In a recent meeting, Musk mentioned “Master Plan Part 4,” which could include autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, and new solar and battery technologies. Critics are skeptical about this new plan since many ideas from previous plans remain unfulfilled. They question whether Musk’s ambitious vision will come true, given his history of overpromising.
