Elon Musk could become a trillionaire by 2027 as billionaire wealth surges

Elon Musk is expected to reach this milestone by 2027. Musk's current net worth is approximately $440 billion, contributing to a total increase in the wealth of the richest people from $13 trillion to $15 trillion in just one year. The report highlights that 60 percent of this wealth is attributed to inheritance and monopolistic practices. Despite the rise in wealth among billionaires, the number of people living in poverty has remained largely unchanged since 1990. The richest 1 percent now control nearly 45 percent of global wealth, while 44 percent of the population lives in poverty.
