Elon Musk discusses rocket mission risks and Starship launch

Their SpaceX capsule safely splashed down off the Florida coast on Wednesday after undocking the day before. Musk shared his thoughts on rockets and space missions. He mentioned that every time he sees a rocket, he thinks about the potential failures that could happen during launch and re-entry. He highlighted that rockets face dangers, such as engine failures and issues with the heat shield when returning to Earth. He announced plans for the Starship rocket. This rocket is designed to support exploration beyond Earth, making human travel to other planets possible for the first time. Musk described Starship as a revolutionary rocket. Following the interview, former President Donald Trump praised Musk and the show’s host, Sean Hannity, on social media, calling them "two great Americans."
