Elon Musk responds to call for larger Tesla models to accommodate families

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, acknowledged a request for larger electric vehicles suitable for families. He responded to a user on X, stating, “We need big Teslas for big families.” Currently, Tesla offers five-seat models in the U.S. and a seven-seat option for the Model Y. The recently unveiled Cybercab is a two-seat robotaxi, while a Robovan can transport up to 20 people or cargo. Tesla plans to produce a six-seat version of the Model Y in China, starting in late 2025. This marks a shift towards accommodating larger families in their vehicle lineup.
