Elon Musk's popularity plummets among UK voters

A new poll shows that Elon Musk's popularity is declining among British voters from all political parties. YouGov's recent survey reveals that 80% of Brits have an unfavourable view of Musk, up from 71% in January. Only 13% now see him positively, down from 18%. Musk is especially unpopular among Labour and Liberal Democrat supporters. A staggering 93% of Labour voters hold a negative opinion of him, while 92% of Lib Dem supporters feel the same. Among Conservative voters, 81% express unfavourable views. Remarkably, Musk's reputation has also worsened with Reform UK voters. In January, he had a positive rating of plus seven among them. Now, it has plummeted to minus 22, with unfavourable views rising from 40% to 58%. This shift followed Musk's withdrawal of support for Nigel Farage, a candidate for Reform UK leader. Patrick English, a political analyst at YouGov, noted that the increase in negative opinions among right-leaning voters is striking. He suggested that Musk's criticism of Farage and his association with Donald Trump could be reasons for this decline in support.
