Elvis Crespo returns to Billboard Tropical Airplay top 10
Elvis Crespo returns to the Billboard charts with his new song “Nuestra Canción,” featuring Jerry Rivera. The collaboration debuted at No. 10 on the Tropical Airplay chart for the week of March 22. This marks Crespo's first top 10 appearance in over five years. Crespo expressed his gratitude, saying it is an honor to work with Rivera, whom he admires greatly. “I’m grateful to God for the opportunity to experience this new life and feel the love of radio,” he told Billboard. The song garnered 2 million audience impressions in the U.S. during the tracking week from March 7 to 13. For Rivera, this collaboration is also significant. It is his third top 10 song in 2025. Previously, he achieved success with “Te Buscare” and “Volver a Enamorarnos,” both reaching No. 8 on the chart. Crespo first gained fame in 1999 with his hit “Suavemente,” which topped the Tropical Airplay chart for nine weeks. His new version of “Nuestra Canción” is a refreshed take on a song that first peaked at No. 17 in 1999. The song will be available across digital platforms on March 20. Crespo’s achievement brings him to a total of 35 top 10 songs, while Rivera ties for fourth-most top 10s with Prince Royce, both having 35. Crespo is also preparing for his upcoming Poeta Heró Tour, which starts on June 21.
