Emirati and American each win $1 million in Dubai

An American and an Emirati have won $1 million in the latest Dubai Duty Free draw. The draw took place at Dubai International Airport today. Tanaz C, an American from Houston, Texas, won $1 million with ticket number 2912. She bought the ticket on February 24 at Concourse A East. This makes her the 14th American winner in the Millennium Millionaire promotion since it began in 1999. Due to the time difference, she could not be reached for comment right away. Ali Al Jaberi, a 62-year-old Emirati from Abu Dhabi, also won $1 million with ticket number 3659. He purchased his ticket online on March 5. Al Jaberi, a retired engineer and father of four, has participated in the draw for ten years. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I’m very happy, many thanks to Dubai Duty Free!" He is the 16th Emirati to win in this promotion. After the Millennium Millionaire draw, the Finest Surprise draw followed. Jamal Aziz Azmi, an Indian living in Sharjah, won a Mercedes Benz S500 with ticket number 0827. He purchased his ticket on March 9 at Terminal 2 Departure. Swedi Athumani Kisokile, a 47-year-old Tanzanian from Dar es Salaam, won a Land Rover Defender. He bought his ticket number 1253 for the Finest Surprise Series 1914 as a second ticket. He expressed his joy, saying, "I can’t believe to have won this early with my only second ticket to your promotion, thank you so much Dubai Duty Free!" Lastly, Abdul Qudoos, a Pakistani living in Ajman, won a BMW S 1000 XR motorbike with ticket number 0195. He purchased it on February 28 at Terminal 2 Public Shop.
