English referee Matthew Carley to officiate France vs Scotland
Matthew Carley, an English referee, will officiate the final match of the 2025 Six Nations between France and Scotland. This marks his second appointment in the tournament. Carley began refereeing at 16 and progressed through the Kent system. He became known for being the first referee to wear a body camera during a professional game in 2012. He has officiated international matches since 2015 and was part of the 2019 World Cup as an assistant referee. Carley was also one of three new referees for the 2023 World Cup.
