Erin Andrews struggles with work-life balance issues
Erin Andrews recently shared her challenges balancing her career and motherhood during the 2024-25 NFL season. In a live episode of the “Calm Down” podcast, she became emotional while discussing the difficulties she faced as she managed work and family, particularly raising her son, Mack, who will turn 2 in June. Andrews explained that both she and her husband, Jarret Stoll, have demanding jobs in sports. Stoll is an NHL player, which adds to the complexity of their lives. She described the year as “really hard” and reflected on the changes since Mack started to talk and realize when she was leaving for work. The couple faced a lengthy journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF) before welcoming Mack via surrogate in the summer of 2023. Andrews admitted she felt overwhelmed, often having “multiple meltdowns” and struggling to give her best to her son, job, and clothing line. Despite the difficulties, she mentioned that she has learned important lessons about giving herself grace and balancing her various roles. Andrews is determined to apply what she has learned moving forward and expressed excitement for the future. In past interviews, Erin has been open about her IVF experiences, explaining that she felt it was important to share her story even though Stoll preferred to keep their lives private. Andrews also previously overcame cervical cancer and is now cancer-free, but recently mentioned a pre-skin cancer issue she is addressing.
