ESPN broadcasts MLB Opening Weekend starting March 27
ESPN will cover the Major League Baseball opening weekend starting March 27 at 3 p.m. ET. The first game features the New York Yankees hosting the Milwaukee Brewers at Yankee Stadium. American League MVP Aaron Judge will lead the Yankees against a Brewers team that includes former New York closer Devin Williams. The Yankees' starting pitcher, Carlos Rodón, had a strong season last year with 16 wins. This year, he takes the mound as Gerrit Cole is out due to surgery. Later that day, the Detroit Tigers will play the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers, led by Shohei Ohtani, opened their season successfully in Tokyo against the Chicago Cubs. On March 30, the Atlanta Braves will play the San Diego Padres in the first Sunday Night Baseball game of the season. Fans can watch these games through ESPN and ESPN+.
