Etihad partners with Wamos Air to operate international routes from Abu Dhabi this winter

Etihad Airways will begin using Wamos Air to operate several international routes this winter. Starting December 15, 2024, Wamos Air will fly between Abu Dhabi and Manila, followed by routes to Milan and Rome in January and February 2025. Wamos Air will provide Airbus A330-200 aircraft, along with pilots and cabin crew, under a wet lease agreement. An Etihad crew member will also be present on each flight to assist passengers. This move aligns with Etihad's strategy to maintain service levels amid operational challenges. Wamos Air has previously partnered with other major airlines, including Qantas and Air New Zealand, for similar arrangements.
