Eve Blair to host "Your Place And Mine" starting May
Eve Blair will host the popular programme "Your Place And Mine" on BBC Radio Ulster/Foyle starting May 10, 2025. She takes over from Anne-Marie McAleese, who ended her tenure on the show in February. The programme will air on Saturday mornings from 8 to 9 a.m. Eve Blair has been a familiar voice on BBC Radio Ulster since 2017, presenting The Late Show during the week. On Saturdays, she will join a lineup that includes Kerry McLean, David Maxwell, Holly Hamilton, and John Toal. Taylor Johnson will introduce a new Saturday evening show from 6 to 8 p.m. His programme will feature nostalgic hits in the first hour, followed by music from local artists in the second hour. He will be followed by Neil Martin’s Folk Club and The Late Show With Mike Edgar. The Sunday schedule will also see changes. Anna Curran will host a new mid-morning show filled with interviews and discussions. Kerry McLean will kick off Sundays earlier, followed by Sunday Sequence and other familiar shows. Emma Dunseith, who oversees content at BBC Northern Ireland, expressed excitement about the changes. She believes the updated schedule will cater to a wide range of interests. Eve Blair expressed her enthusiasm for the show, saying it captures the essence of the country and its people.
