Evernorth opens global capability center in Hyderabad and plans to hire 300 more employees

Evernorth Health Services, part of Cigna Group, opened a global capability center in Hyderabad on November 19, 2024. The center aims to hire 300 additional employees by April 2025, increasing its workforce to 1,000. The facility occupies four floors, with two already operational, each capable of housing about 600 employees. Evernorth's COO highlighted Hyderabad's strong technology ecosystem as a key reason for the location choice. The center, which began operations in April with 700 employees, focuses on data analytics, digital care solutions, and pharmacy benefits management. Plans are in place to expand beyond 1,000 employees in the future.
