Exynos 2500 likely exclusive to Galaxy Z Flip FE

Samsung's plans for the Exynos 2500 chipset have changed again. Originally, the chip was meant for the Galaxy S25 series. However, there were production issues, and it didn’t make it into those phones. Now, there were hopes that the Exynos 2500 would debut in the Galaxy Z Flip7. But a new report suggests that the chip may only be used in the lower-priced Galaxy Z Flip FE. Internal disagreements in Samsung's mobile division are reportedly causing these changes. The Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to be released a few months after the Flip7 and Fold7, which are likely to launch in July. This timeline gives Samsung more time to work out the production issues with the Exynos 2500. Samsung seems cautious about changing the successful formula for the Galaxy Z Flip, which has always used Snapdragon chips. They do not want to lose potential buyers by switching to the Exynos chipset in the main models. Additionally, Samsung is focusing on the development of the next chip, the Exynos 2600. They want to ensure it is ready in time for the Galaxy S26 series and avoid any repeat of the current issues with the Exynos 2500.
