Falcons interview former Bears coach Matt Eberflus for defensive coordinator role
The Atlanta Falcons interviewed former Chicago Bears coach Matt Eberflus for their defensive coordinator position. This comes as part of their ongoing search after firing their previous defensive coordinator and defensive line coach on January 11. Eberflus was let go by the Bears on November 29 after a 4-8 start, finishing with a 5-12 record. He previously served as the Colts' defensive coordinator for four seasons. The Falcons have also interviewed several other candidates, including Steve Wilks, Grady Brown, Derrick Ansley, Lou Anarumo, Jeff Ulbrich, and Wink Martindale.
