Family in Ghaziabad drugged and robbed by domestic help
A family in Ghaziabad was drugged and robbed by their recent domestic help on March 9. The woman, called Isha, had been hired only three days before the incident without proper police checks. According to BC Bansal, 82, Isha prepared dinner for the family. Shortly after eating, his wife, Kamlesh, 78, fainted, and their daughter felt dizzy. BC Bansal did not eat because he was unwell and was locked in the bathroom by Isha. Their daughter later managed to open the door and found that their mobile phones were missing. She saw Isha and three other people escaping over the wall. The police were notified by neighbors, who also took Kamlesh and her daughter to the hospital. Swatantra Kumar Singh, the ACP, stated that not all valuables had been taken. They believe Isha and her accomplices planned the robbery but did not succeed completely. The police have filed a report and are working to find the suspects. They registered an FIR with multiple charges, including causing hurt with poison and theft by a servant.
