Father of Georgia school shooter pleads not guilty to murder charges
Colin Gray, father of alleged Georgia school shooter Colt Gray, pleaded not guilty to charges related to a September mass shooting at Apalachee High School that left four dead. He faces 29 counts, including second-degree murder. This case marks the first time in Georgia that a parent of a suspected school shooter has been charged. Colt Gray, indicted separately on 55 counts, including four counts of malice murder, also pleaded not guilty in October. The shooting on September 4 resulted in the deaths of two students and two teachers. Reports indicate Colin Gray gave his son an AR-15-style rifle after law enforcement interviewed them about online threats.
