Father of Georgia school shooting suspect pleads not guilty to charges
The father of a 14-year-old boy accused of a mass shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia has pleaded not guilty to charges against him. Colin Gray's lawyers entered the plea during a brief court hearing. Colin Gray and his son, Colt Gray, were indicted for the September 4 shooting that killed two teachers and two students. Colt Gray faces 55 charges, including murder, while his father faces 29 charges, including second-degree murder. Colt Gray is being held in a juvenile detention center, and Colin Gray is in jail. Both have not sought bail. Colin Gray is the first adult charged in a Georgia school shooting, reflecting a trend of holding parents accountable for their children's actions.
