Fazilka man arrested with Pakistani drone, Ferozepur heroin bust
In Fazilka, a joint operation by the Border Security Force and State Special Cell Police led to the arrest of a man with a drone made in Pakistan. The man, Joginder Singh, is from Gulab Wala Jhugga village. He allegedly used the drone to order heroin and weapons from Pakistan for Indian smugglers. Recently, a drone entered Indian territory but crashed due to a technical issue. Singh reportedly picked up the drone and hid it. He will be presented in court, and police are looking for the drugs that were delivered by the drone. In a separate incident in Ferozepur, police arrested three men for drug smuggling. They found 1.647 kilograms of heroin in their possession. The suspects included Balwinder Singh, known as Kulwinder, and his accomplices, Charanjit Singh, alias Channu, and Akashveer, alias Gagan. They had also ordered heroin from Pakistan using a drone. Cases have been filed against all the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
